My name is Tyler MacDonald. I have always been interested in developing video games and after finding out there were schools teaching game art and design I pursued my education in the field. I love games and designing them. I had my first experience with 3d design at the University of California Santa Barbara where my dad used to teach, I learned how to use Solid Works in a few hours and started making robots. Since then I went to college and had some experience with Maya before learning 3ds Max. 3ds Max has been my main software of choice for modeling. Later on I purchased 3d-Coat after seeing a tutorial by a Valve employee and have been incorporating it into my workflow ever since. I am able to create textured 3d models quickly and efficiently using 3ds Max, 3d-Coat and Photoshop. I am critical of my work and stride to improve my skills with each project. I would love a chance to work in the industry and it is my dream to work on a project I love and have passion for.
